Legal Publication
Published in August 2020, Rahim S. Dhanji's "Trusteeship Remodelled for Conflict Management: the foundation of Jus Post Bellum" advocates for an institutional legal framework for the management of conflict by recontextualising the defunct concept of Trusteeship in the Charter of the United Nations. The proposed legal framework brings relevant stakeholders to the table, including non state armed groups, the host state and intergovernmental organisations. It also attributes legally enforceable rights and duties to these parties under the Law of Trusts and preserves state sovereignty. A copy of this book is available and its contents can be viewed here.
